A Commitment to Culture: My Black Business Challenge Journey
Mission Accomplished!
At the start of the year, I made a commitment to be intentional with my spending, and for February, that meant pouring back into Black-owned businesses and let me tell you, this challenge was everything my heart needed!
I had the honor of supporting family, friends, strangers, and organizations, each with their own passion, hustle, and purpose. Seeing the drive behind these businesses reminded me why intentionality matters...not just in how I spend, but in how I uplift my community.
Every purchase, every share, every dollar spent was a step toward circulating the Black dollar, empowering entrepreneurship, and investing in the future. And yes, that even meant supporting myself as a business owner, because we can’t pour from an empty cup!
Challenge for you: You don’t have to go all in like I did, but even one small shift in how you support can create waves. Start today. Be intentional. Pour back into the culture.
Check out all the businesses I supported last month. Let’s keep building, growing, and thriving together! #BlackBusinessMonth #IntentionalSpending #supportblackownedbusinesses
